Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information the app collects, what it does with it, and what it does not do. It applies to the mobile app published by Sharon Louise Palmer (“we”, “us”) on the Apple App Store.

The short version

There is no account and no sign-in. The content you create stays on your device. The only information that leaves the device concerns your purchase, and it is limited to what is needed to confirm that a subscription is genuine and still active.

Information we do not collect

What stays on your device

Everything you enter or create in the app is written to your device’s own storage. It is included in your iPhone or iCloud backup because the whole device is, and it is removed when you delete the app. We have no copy of it and no way to read it.

Where the app can use a photo from your library, iOS hands it only the image you choose. The app cannot see the rest of your library.

What leaves your device

Payments, handled by Apple

All purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple. We never receive your name, your Apple ID or your payment details, and no payment information passes through us.

Subscription validation and analytics

We use Apphud, a subscription management service, to verify that a purchase is genuine and to measure how many people subscribe. Acting as our processor, Apphud receives:

Apphud does not receive your name, your email address, your payment details, or any content you create in the app. Its handling of this information is governed by its own privacy policy. Processing takes place on servers operated by Apphud in the United States.

Anything you choose to share

Files the app creates are produced on your device and go only where you send them using the iOS share sheet. We are not involved and receive nothing.

Why we process this information

How long it is kept

Content on your device is kept until you delete it or delete the app. Subscription records are retained for as long as needed to support the subscription and to meet accounting and tax obligations.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what information is held about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to processing, or to receive a copy. Because there is no account, we identify records by device rather than by person.

Email sharonlouise@gmail.com from the device concerned and say what you would like done. We will action it with Apphud and confirm when it is complete. Deleting the app stops any further information being sent.

Subscriptions are managed in Settings › Apple ID › Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

Children

The app is suitable for all ages. It asks for no personal information from anyone, including children, and has no messaging, profiles or contact between users.

Selling and sharing

We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for advertising. Apphud is the only third party that receives anything, and only for the purposes described above.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the revised version will be published on this page with a new date at the top.
